Adobe warns against third party patches
Earlier this month, Adobe warned users about yet another security vulnerability in Acrobat – but then they issued another warning, cautioning users against installing “fixes” issued by third parties such as the one from security company RamzAfzar. Because it was out there before the release of the official patch from Adobe, many users and IT pros might consider installing it to get immediate protection, but it’s important to realize that third party patches aren’t going to be supported by Adobe, and may possibly cause more problems than they solve.
